Surf and Turf Noodles
Ingredients:
For the Steak:
2 ribeye steaks (or your choice of beef steak)
Salt and pepper to taste
2 tbsp olive oil
1 tbsp soy sauce (optional)
For the Shrimp:
8-10 large shrimp, peeled and deveined
1 tbsp olive oil
2 cloves garlic, minced
Salt and pepper to taste
1 tbsp soy sauce
For the Noodles:
200g egg noodles
1 tbsp sesame oil
1 tsp soy sauce
1/2 cup chopped green onions
1/2 cup mushrooms, sliced
1 tbsp hoisin sauce (optional)
Instructions:
Cook the Steak:
Heat the olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.
Season the steaks with salt, pepper, and optional soy sauce.
Grill or pan-sear the steaks for about 4-6 minutes per side (for medium-rare).
Remove the steaks from the pan and let them rest for 5 minutes before slicing.
Cook the Shrimp:
In the same skillet, add olive oil and minced garlic.
Season the shrimp with salt and pepper, then sauté them for about 2-3 minutes per side until they are pink and opaque.
Drizzle with soy sauce for added flavor.
Prepare the Noodles:
Cook the egg noodles according to package instructions.
Drain and toss with sesame oil, soy sauce, and hoisin sauce.
Sauté the mushrooms and green onions in a separate pan for 2-3 minutes, then toss with the noodles.
Assemble:
Arrange the cooked noodles on a plate.
Top with the grilled steak slices and shrimp.
Garnish with extra green onions and serve hot!
